"CLASH OF CULTURES"
'Caledonia is my home, I love it, I live here I work here. These are some of the reasons why I felt compelled to paint this picture. I have many friends on both sides; there are many good people on both sides of the issue. We all must remember that we are all human beings first, regardless of our skin colour. I merely painted was was, what is, I did not want to paint a picture that was clouded by judgement in any way. I wanted to tell a story of sorts, of what happened, comprised of the various key players. It is a part of hitory, it is a "CLASH OF CULTURES"'
"I am the youngest of nine" Born and raised in Caledonia. There is a walkway in town dedicated to the memories of two of my older brothers, Dave & Jake for their many contributions to this town "The Patterson Walkway".
