CALLING ALL AREA ARTISTS
The Grand River Gallery has evolved over the last 25 years to also become an "enabling center" and "open door" for all area artists ... both well established and newly emerging.
As of June 6 2010, the gallery is now wholly owned and operated by Rene Ariens, who previously served as the gallery's manager. He is himself a retired business manager, an aspiring artist and an accomplished freelance musician. His personal experiences have gained him a real appreciation for the many obstacles and difficulties most artists face when encountering the commercial art world in their effort to find a willing and inexpensive space to show and promote their works. Here on the Grand River there is no tollerance for any subjective discernment, judgement or any selection criteria involved in qualifying in order to display here. It is an open door for all established and aspiring artists.
Here we intend that an artist will find the support, tools and encouragement to practice their creative endeavors within a community of many other artists , as well as in providing them with a variety of services geared to their specific needs.
As artists, we honor the rules and strictly adhere to established guidelines and fair practices as recommended by CARFAC, the not for profit Artists Representation in Canada and nationally recognized voice for artists.
It's your gallery.
