MICHELLE PRANKIE

Michelle is a wonderful new discovery and a welcome addition to the talented local artists featured here at the gallery.

She paints beautifully in both acrylics and watercolors and enjoys working in all mediums equally. "Variety is the spice of life" she says... and you will find it in abundance in her works. She has a great eye for color and composition and captures he moods and feelings of her subject in a most pleasing and compelling way.

We're sure you will enjoy her works immensely and proudly display them in your home!

Michelle was born in Caledonia and now resides in the peaceful countryside of rural West Lincoln.

From portraits, florals, animals and landscapes surrounding her rural home, Michelle uses the varied subjects available to her to express her artistic fervor.

Her attention to details and her depth of color throughout her works have brought her paintings consistant accolades in all of the many shows she has presented at.

She makes expert use of light and shadows and brings out the warmth and character of her subjects, be it the mid day sun or the soft glow of her portrait subjects.

She is well known to the Smithville Public Library, Haldimand County Museum, Pelham Art Association, Ancaster, Beamsville, Binbrook and Caledonia Fairs, where she has displayed her works earning many awards in both juried and non juried events.
