Rene Ariens
Rene is the owner, curator, webmaster, frame builder, mat cutter, print maker, minstrel and the "resident artist" of the Grand River Gallery.
His photographs and unique mosaic compositions have earned him several awards and immediate recognition locally.
He is sincerely committed and dedicated in helping other artists find an accessable, permanent and sustainable public showcase for their art, along with peer training workshops, support, promotion, education, tools, as well as in providing a full time retail outlet for their individual talents and unique creative expressions.
As curator of the gallery, he encourages all artists in the area to participate in the gallery and community art events.

This print is available as a giclee print on both watercolor paper and on canvas. They are sold in limited quantities of ten in each medium.
Individually signed and numbered.
Measuring 16 x 5 inches on cotton paper, and 30 x 9.5 inches on cotton canvas... only a few remain.

It is composed of 6,648 tiled images of vintage western comic book covers arranged in a mosaic pattern depicting the legendary Roy Rogers and his trusty steed Silver.
