YES ! ...  WE HAD A GREAT STAMPEDE CELEBRATION THIS YEAR

AND ...  ARE NOW LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVING MANY MORE STREET EVENTS IN THE FUTURE !

IT'S STILL EARLY IN THE MORNING AND WE'RE ALREADY SET UP FOR THE SHOW AND SALE!

Sarah Joncas was a huge hit here during the August 14th Stampede Days celebration. For many of us, it was the first time we had a chance to meet her and get to know her.

What a delight it was to have her here. Not only did she bring along several of her newest works, but we discovered she posseses an incredibly warm and sunny personality... she is indeed a most beautiful and gracious role model for so many of her fans.

Quite a number of our local high school art students turned out to meet her, and she absolutely delighted them when she invited them to sit down beside her and paint together. Thank you so very much Sarah for making the day so special for us all.

Above we see Sarah and Jen. Jen has asked to spend some time here at the gallery next semester as a co-op placement. We appreciate your help Jen, and look forward to helping you any way we can with your future career path in the arts.

We were glad to see that so many of our gallery artists were able to show up for this annual event. This is the first year we have gathered as a group to show off our stuff and make a good impression on the community.

The slide show to the left will give you a glance at some of the tents and displays that were set up along the street beside the gallery.
